About me

Youngmi Seo was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States in her teens. She received her B.F.A. in Graphic Design and M.A. in Counseling Psychology. She is currently working towards becoming a licensed mental health clinician.

Having lived in two cultures, Youngmi has been influenced by Buddhist mindfulness practices, and the teachings of Christ. Additionally, her interest in dreaming traditions led her to study on an advanced level with Robert Moss, the creator of Active Dreaming, a synthesis of modern dreamwork and shamanic healing. Youngmi studied Flower of Life, the teachings of sacred geometry and Mer-Ka-Ba meditation, brought forward by Drunvalo Melchizedek, and Soul/Body Fusion with Jonette Crowley.

Youngmi has worked as a counselor, reference librarian, and multimedia producer. She believes in dissolving barriers that separate individuals, communities, and cultures to strengthen human interconnectedness, and to transform lives. She currently makes her home in the Greater Boston area.
